The donations to this project will help to improve my students' English vocabulary through the use of technology. As students listen to stories on the mini iPads they will also capture the appropriate pronunciation of words. They will discover new meanings using the content of the stories read to them. This project would significantly help my kindergartners enhance their vocabulary skills. The individual iPads minis will allow them to have a one on one listening format instead of being in a whole group mode. Which in many cases causes anxiety for English language learners. Overall, I know that having these two learning tools in my classroom will be a success in their language development.
