I would love to implement literature circles in my classroom, but without the proper resources I am unable to do so. With the help of DonorsChoose I will be able to have lit. circles with books that will have powerful themes to inspire them! Faceless, Monster, Crossover, Flipped, and Everything Everything, Projekt 1065, Holocaust - The Story of a Survivor all have great themes that have the power to motivate and foster their love for reading! Literature circles provide great learning experiences such as: cooperative learning, they allow students to have a choice of what book they would like to read, and they provide social experiences. Because my students are struggling readers, they need engaging games that will inspire their love for reading. I have added games to my wish list that will help their reading comprehension. With the help of Donors Choose together we will peak their interest for reading and learning.
