Using this class set of multimedia headphones in conjunction with targeted online language exposure tools, I will be able to give the students authority in their individualized learning plans. Students will be able to follow their interests to expose themselves to topics and themes of their choice and they will be able to move at whatever pace feels most comfortable to them. Having agency and authority over learning has proven to increase student learning outcomes as well as help build students that are sense-makers, problem solvers and creators of ideas. Reaching the intermediate and advanced levels of language proficiency require students to use just those skills to apply and create their unique foreign language identity. Having this tool will greatly contribute to my talented students cultivating their language identities and will put them on the path to becoming bilingual citizens! Thank you for your consideration!
