My students are a part of the "millennial" generation, which thrives on interacting with technology. Place them in front of a computer and they are enthralled. Ask them to create something on a computer and they are able to easily channel their creativity. These students are also increasingly kinesthetic learners. They need to be able to manipulate and change what is in front of them to make discoveries. My students are living in an increasingly bilingual world and community. The use of the Spanish language is increasing rapidly in our community, state, and country. My students are excited to be learning a language that has been around them most of their lives.
