I teach all Spanish I classes at New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School! This is my first year at this school and my first year teaching high school Spanish I. "Sci High" is a high performing, high poverty school. I am so excited to have this opportunity to introduce a foreign language to these young minds! This year I also started the Teacher Preparation and Certification Program at Tulane University. Prior to Sci High, I taught elementary Spanish for k-5 graders at three schools in the North Little Rock School District in Arkansas. I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a double major in International Studies and Spanish. I am immensely grateful for the projects that Donor's Choose has funded. My teaching would not be as engaging if it were not for this invaluable resource!
