I teach 5th grade Science, Social Studies, and Reading/Language Arts. I have two classes of Science for a total of 53 future scientists! Since moving to 5th grade, I have been able to follow my passion and help foster the love of science and inquiry in my students. This year I led a group of students-the Steubing Ranch STEAM TEAM-in creating STEM/STEAM projects for a high school science carnival! My goal is to encourage more of my girls to become involved in science, technology, engineering, and math. Bringing new and exciting technological opportunities to my classroom is one way to accomplish that goal.
