My name is Ms. Wilder! I am the Teacher of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) for the South San Francisco Unified School District! Currently most of my time is in the Adult Transition Program where we build independent work and living skills for students with disabilities ages 18-22. Our program helps to enrich the lives of our students by helping them learn how to be a good worker and the skills necessary to live independently. Some of our students obtain jobs before they leave our program! I also work with the other DHH students in the district on helping them stay at grade level in their academic classes while developing strategies to live and work with hearing loss. All of my students work hard and grow everyday from this program and most of that growth comes from the support of family and friends.
