Our school is a K-5 magnet school existing with the STEAM (science-technology-engineering-arts-math) philosophy on a daily basis. We have approximately 435 students from throughout the district and larger metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Our students come from diverse economic and ethnic families. We engage the students daily with inquiry-focused instruction, celebrating questions and wonder of everything. Students know that we learn through mistakes and that it is okay to be wrong, but it is not okay to not try.
