As a third-year teacher, I am still working to stock the shelves of my classroom library with books that my students want to read. This project contains high-interest novel series that students will want to read during their independent reading time. This project also contains some social-emotional books that my students may find helpful and can also be used as a whole-class teaching tool as needed. Lastly, this project contains age-appropriate biographies of important historical figures. My hope is that my students can see themselves in these individuals and know that they, too, can accomplish great things.
