Hello and welcome to my classroom, I am a teacher at a Title 1 School in the Bronx, New York. I am a self-contained special education fourth grade teacher. My goal is to create a classroom community that allows student's to explore their own creativity and enable them to be as successful as possible. I believe in teaching students as a whole, and understanding that they need to be cared for emotionally, and socially, as well as academically. I strive to incorporate enrichment such as crafts and growing plants in our classroom to allow students to have hands on application which allows for greater comprehension. This hands on approach is highly beneficial for all students, especially those such as English Language Learners to help them have concrete understanding of concepts.
