My students would benefit greatly using the magnetic cranes, bar magnets, wave apparatus and slinkies. These will help them visualize and understand invisible fields such as magnetism and understand the behavior and anatomy of waves. The "shoe-organizer" will house STEM challenges for students to expand and extend their Science education beyond basic standards. Highlighters and dry erase board materials will help with various practice of science and math concepts and problems. Each of the items requested will be used by over 100 8th graders and will really help students make meaningful connections to Science. Thank you in advance for considering helping impressionable teenagers experience the importance and necessity of science literacy and understanding.
