The student in my classes have expressed interest in recording science outside of the classroom through video, images and data. Apple has applications that allow for students to download for education purposes and use to create science reports and presentations digitally as they experience higher level learning experiences outside of the classroom. The iPads allow for students to record their work and applications allow for editing of digital recordings to become photos that can be used for the student internal assessments. The students have to complete and submit internal assessments that require real time photographic images and data recording, which iPads will allow for the students to do outside of the school house. It is important to give students they need to be successful. The hardbound cases will protect the iPads from any physical damage. As the students will be taking the iPads home, to the zoo, aquariums, swamps, lakes and carrying them too and from school, etc. it is important to protect the technology so that students are able to use the technology from year to year.
