As a teacher who has several students with special needs, ESL learners, and big and bright personalities I want to make sure that every voice is heard during the learning process. Utilizing the answer boards gives the students a fun opportunity to use their motor skills in showing their work and being able to display their answer without feeling the pressure of speaking out. Some students get discouraged when they are asked to answer out loud and I believe this would be a great tool to develop confidence. The opportunity for students to utilize flexible seating for those who struggle with the classroom wiggles would be a huge blessing and stride towards their academic success. In the classroom, I realize that the learning process is not the same for each student and it is my job to figure out how and when these tools can be implemented to encourage academic progress.
