During the upcoming school year my hope is to use devices such as ipads and chrombooks to facilitate learning, engage in online discussions and create projects. For example, during Math students are presented daily with a "problem of the day" using a device students can can have an online discussion to explain their solutions while creating a model with digital drawing tools. Having a cart for our classroom devices to be securely stored and fully charged for another day of learning will make transitions between in person learning and online collaboration efficient while also creating endless learning opportunities! Many of the online platforms allowed students the opportunity to take ownership of their learning, participate in real time and be positive digital citizens in an online community. With your help, students returning back to the classroom in the Fall will continue to foster these skills.
