My students are in a small city in Northeast Florida. We have a very diverse population with students located anywhere from the beach to rural farm areas. We are considered a Title 1 school with several low-income students. Our academy is part of a public high school of over 2,000 students. The students at our academy learn through project-based learning on collaborative projects that prepare students with real-world skills through critical thinking. Students need hands-on projects to create authentic learning experiences. These authentic learning experiences allow students to be college and career ready.
