Our middle school serves an underprivileged population of students, over 75% of whom are on free or reduced lunch. Most of our students are children of immigrants or are immigrants themselves. Many are two to three grade levels behind in English and math. They need all the resources we can provide to help them catch up and excel. Having computers in the classroom enables me, the teacher, to provide individualized instruction to each student in the same classroom space and time.
