I tried my best to meet the needs of my students during a pandemic. I used my resources during the spring. I made sure my students are connected virtually. I provided all of the students with physical materials to manipulate at home so they won’t fall behind. As a result, my laptop is now burned out. It no longer starts up. I am currently using the district’s laptop that is out of date. It cannot handle the multitasking that is necessary for distance learning. Therefore, I am seeking assistance. I want an updated laptop to teach virtually. An updated laptop will allow me not only to continue to provide distance learning for my students. It will also allow me to manage my IEPs and appear more professional during the virtual IEP meetings.
