I am fortunate enough to have 12 very loving and caring 2nd grade students who are all diagnosed with Autism. The severity of their disabilities allows them to attend a self-contained specialized education school. We are located in the Bronx, New York. Every day they work hard on goals in math, reading, writing, social emotional learning, speech & language, communication, occupational therapy, and behaviors. These goals are unique and different for every student and cover a wide range of needs & skill sets. They face challenges and frustrations every day that create the best celebrations when obstacles are overcome. Having the proper resources and tools makes these celebrations easier to attain for these little ones and occur more frequently!
