Children learn through their interactions with others. Technology has now become a big part of our class. Having an iPad in our class would allow my students to code robots that were donated last year. The robots are named Dash and Dot. These robots were made by the Wonder Workshop company. Wonder Workshop is a family of award-winning robots and age-appropriate apps to encourage hands-on play and learning to make creative problem-solving concrete and tangible. Their vision is to inspire kids of all ages by giving them tools to imagine and invent the future. I would love for my class to be able to have their own iPad to code the Dash and Dot robots. They would be able to watch their virtual coding turn into tangible learning experiences in real time. Dash and Dot have multiple sensors that interact with and respond to their surroundings.
