The special scholars in my classroom do not have access to laptops during their classroom lessons or during group/individual learning time. My second grade scholars receive a whole group lesson and small group instruction. I would love for them to have the support of technology as well to support and reteach their individual learning goals. Scholars in my classroom need technology incorporated into their daily lessons for reading, science, math and social studies. These lessons include listening to a story while reading along to support a struggling readers fluency and comprehension or watching videos on Education Discovery about past presidents and creating a PowerPoint with a classmate. Technology is a huge part of our daily lives and it is so important to incorporate it into every scholars lessons as much as possible. I need at least 5 laptops to help support my scholars' learning as well as foster their curiosity about the world and bring learning to life at their fingertips.
