In my classroom I have one computer, one tablet, and 15 students. As my students get older, they will continue to use technology in more advanced ways. By having several tablets and an extra computer in the classroom, students are able to enhance their technology skills while learning other valuable skills in the process. In the classroom, technology will be used as a tool to help students enhance their technology, problem solving, and communication skills. Due to the variety of abilities in the classroom, tablets will also accommodate physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments in many ways. Students will use the tablets to increase communication skills as well as develop math, literacy, and social skills.
