The students in our program are reading and writing significantly below grade level for a variety of reasons. They want to get better, but often don't know where to begin. Our students come from a low income area and don't have access to reading and writing materials that will help them improve. In our program, we try to fill that gap with a wide variety of reading materials in many formats, and a variety of methods that teach writing.
