My daily classroom activities include 2-3 read aloud stories. Usually these stories relate to a specific topic that we are working on and sometimes they are just fun books to read. Whatever the story, my students love to listen to me read to them. Many of our topics in Pre-K include discussing the similarities and differences that makes us all who we are. These books will diversify my classroom library. Each time I read to my students or they select a book from our library, they will see themselves and their families represented in the beautiful illustrations.
