My high school students have disabilities and stay in school until they are 22 so that they can gain valuable skills to help them be as independent as possible in their adult lives. They receive instruction in all academic areas and have the opportunity to practice life skills. They are most successful when they are able to practice skills in meaningful, authentic ways and love working together to complete projects.
