I am a district 75 special education teacher working with students in grades 3-5. All of my students have autism spectrum disorder. It can be very challenging supplying my classroom with teacher made items that interest and engage all of my learners and their varying abilities. Some of my students are non-verbal and communicate with a device or iPad, and some have full verbal conversations. I work very hard to reach all my learners by differentiating the work, tasks and activities I provide. I purchase new materials regularly throughout the school year, sometimes on a weekly basis. Your donations would really help support my classroom by making it possible to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for all of my students.
