Having Hot Dots will allow all my students to practice phonics, comprehension, and story structure on their own specific academic levels. With 20 students on so many different levels, differentiation is definitely a must. This system, Hot Dots, allows me to let each student practice the skill or skills they need, independently, while having the entire class engaged. They offer all levels of books to help with phonics, fluency, reading comprehension, mathematics, and science. It is a fun, educational way to allow the students to practice and learn within their own level without the fear of failure and/or others possibly seeing their mistakes.
