I love teaching sixth graders, and getting to see students "get" a concept is amazing. I teach math for my grade level in a suburban, partial Title I school. In my classroom, I embrace different learning styles, abilities, and motivation levels. In an effort to give students more freedom to learn at their pace, I have been slowly moving toward "flipping" my instruction. This will give me additional time in the classroom to support student understanding of the concepts, foster a positive view of math, and challenge those students who just "get" it faster. We will learn 21st Century skills using technology, and collaborate with one another daily. I need your help to make this a reality!
