Our students enjoy listening to books as well as exploring them on their own. These STEM themed books will be used as teaching "hooks" to spark ideas for our students (and sneak in a little literacy). The wide variety of building materials meets the variety of needs for our students. The magna-tiles and crazy shapes magnet building set will help those students with less fine motor control to build awesome creations with less struggle while at the same time helping develop those fine motor skills. The bristle builders will meet sensory needs while at the same time allowing for ease of building. The create-a-chain reaction STEM set will help students work together to improve social skills.
