Writing, math and science are 3 subjects I would like to provide more hands on learning for my students. These materials will make a difference in my classroom by providing those opportunities. Children learn best by doing. These items will give my students the chance to practice the standards by creating and doing. Writing flip books will provide students with a fun way to create stories making sure all elements of a good story are included. Math games are an excellent way to learn multiplication facts. I am confident the games will help my students become fluent in multiplication. They will make practicing math facts a lot more fun. Using the Science core kit will allow my students opportunities to engage and experiment with our science standards. There are so many fun experiments during science, but often we have lacked the resources. I am excited about this kit as it will provide us with necessary materials. My hope is that allowing my students opportunities to engage with learning using hands on activities, the learning will be deepened and it will allow them get excited about writing, math and science.
