My classroom is a shared office and lesson space where preschoolers are seen for speech therapy. Each week I see approximately 50 students to work on their communication skills. We work on learning new speech sounds, expanding vocabularies, practicing social skills, and using PECS communication books to interact with others. My students are ages 3 to 5 years old with a variety of diagnoses from speech sound disorders, language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down's Syndrome, and other neurological and developmental disorders.
