The resources I am requesting will make learning online so much more interactive. Students being able to build a math problem using base ten blocks or magnetic fractions will help develop the concept. Being able to measure fractions against one another really helps student in comparing fractions. The books such as Monster Math and One Duck Stuck will allow children to combine literacy and math together. They will be able to hear math vocabulary in the story and visualize the math problem as well by viewing pictures in the book. To make math more engaging, my students would love to be able to see and touch items to better their learning I am requesting math manipulatives that will allow them to build and see their math problems. Fraction tiles, counting bears, base ten blocks, and ten frames all help my visual and tactical learners! I want all my kids to be able to learn no matter what their learning style is! To bring my dream learning activity to life, I’d love to get: the books I requested in order to to bring literacy into my math lessons. I love to read and most children love story time so being able to incorporate all of these items together is perfect for us. Vocabulary is such a huge part in a child's literacy development and by being able to read aloud to them helps grow their vocabulary!
