My classroom is an innovative environment where I work to provide lessons for my students that are related to the real world and help them develop critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills. I strive to allow my students opportunities to enhance their creativity and think outside the box. I currently teach 7th grade science as well as a STEAM elective for 6th and 7th grade students in Northwest Florida. My students are eager to learn and come to class each day excited to see what science activities we will be doing. My students are creative, thoughtful, and have a hunger to learn and have the opportunity to express the knowledge and skills they are learning. I am a proponent of bringing technology to my classroom and informing my students of cutting edge research and developments through networking and connecting my students to individuals in the science community.
