My students have already shown they are capable of doing great work under constrained conditions. With only 9 machines capable of running Unity in Windows, classes of 25+ students were able to generate dozens of interesting Virtual Reality applications (from static compositions for the player to explore in VR to dynamic, interactive games) and improve their coding, teamwork, and logical thinking along the way. Three more machines will push us tantalizingly close to each pair of students having a suitable machine for Virtual Reality development. Combined with funding from other sources, these machines will help more students explore the possibilities of Virtual Reality.
