Students are encouraged to use our Maker's Space to collaborate on design and building projects. The conversion of our work tables in the shop to a dry erase work surface will facilitate this process. We will sand, prime and paint the table surfaces to a dry erase board material. Students will use the high quality expo dry erase markers to take work through the design process in the Makerspace. Students can work collaboratively on a large and forgiving work space that will strengthen communication and teamwork. They can use the shared whiteboard table tops as a draft space for the engineering notebook entries. It will also allow students to provide proof of how they used their class time to the teacher. Most importantly however, it will enhance the creative process within the MakerSpace.
