Students on the Autism spectrum often need help stimulating and calming down their brains. Many students also enjoy having hands-on activities to learn with. Just because a student does not have a paper and pencil in front of them does not mean they are not learning. I am so excited to teach my students in creative ways. My classroom may not look like a traditional classroom, that's because my students are not traditional...they are amazing! I am looking for ways to help them engage in the classroom and enjoy learning in a safe and comforting environment.
