Stress is one of the factors that hinders our kids from learning - this becomes more apparent with working with kids with Autism and hearing impairment as they have harder time expressing themselves and knowing what to do to calm their little bodies. The headphones and MP3 player will be used for a calming listening program that will help the kids relax their senses and get them ready for learning. This will be a preparatory activity that will help them get to a calm status in order to learn new skills and information. The scissors, slant board, leapfrog hand grip will be a good adjunct to help the kids focus on accomplishing school tasks more efficiently.
