Our students work fiercely hard to prepare for third grade state testing with paper and pencil, but it is simply not as effective or comparable to the challenge of applying those same skills with manipulatives. As a departmentalized third grade team, I can provide much-needed support to my team through these materials . Students would gain regular experience with these formats without feeling the time constrained pressure of "test prep." Preparedness will truly be the gift of confidence and self belief!

About my class
