Working on a computer can be fun and informative but designing on the computer can only be fully experienced once your design comes to life. With this 3d printer, students will be able to feel their designs in the palms of their hands. They'll see what works and what can be improved. Nothing is more motivating when learning CAD skills than knowing that you'll be able to hold your design in your hands. STEM skills are the keys to the new economy. My students need those skills as early as they can acquire them. By enhancing my assignments with this 3D printer I can bring new technologies into the classroom and help students discover career opportunities they may have never heard of before.
