In attending the Hello Literacy conference, I hope to learn more engaging strategies on how to get young students excited about reading! I hope to grow in best practices for early literacy in order for my students to become more interested in growing their reading skills. I want to enhance my knowledge on research based and developmentally appropriate practices for young children in literacy. I also hope to share what I have learned with my fellow teachers. Bringing these fresh ideas from the conference back to the classroom will be a valuable asset for not only me and my colleagues but for my students as well. Literacy is a vital tool to empowering students to become future leaders in society!
