These tablets will allow my students to access lessons which they otherwise may not be able to do. I teach at a low-income middle school. We are considered a title school as both lunch and breakfast are free for all students. Currently, our classroom includes 9 students. I have differing disabilities from Mild Intellectual Disabilities to Moderately Autistic students. As part of their regular instruction, my students benefit from having the curricula tailored to meet both their specific learning style and their individual needs. It is sometimes difficult to have each student completing a meaningful task on their educational level without each student having the technology available to him or her. Within our current technology-based world, our classroom should be bursting at the seams with technology. I only have 3 desktop computers within my classroom and no chrome books available to us. We are fortunate enough to benefit from having a wonderful curriculum which is based online; however, I am printing each assignment for the students to have in front of them to meet their individual needs. Furthermore, with a dynamic blend of learning styles present within each classroom, this technology would allow my students to get individually tailored lessons that suit their dynamic learning style!
