The GoPro will be used for a wide variety of purposes. Currently we don't have an adequate way of teleconferencing with industry professionals when they want to speak remotely at our school. We have had software engineers from Apple, Cisco, and other tech companies remote in for our students this year. Each time it has been extraordinarily difficult due to a lack of video conferencing and audio capabilities in the classroom where we teach computer science. The GoPro would also be used in our business classes to help students get hands on experience creating advertisements using the concepts the use in class and with products they design. The GoPro accessories would help support this mission. Lastly, the soundbar will be used for the video calls we do in class every term with industry professionals to give access to these large companies that they normally wouldn't be able to reach or connect with. These programs happen during school and after school. These devices would contribute immensely to the outcomes of our business and computer science CTE students.
