The resources that I am requesting are simple, but important. My students are learning how to be responsible when borrowing books. The tool that I want to provide for them are plastic drawstring bags with a sticker name tag. In my experience, 65%* of borrowed books are ruined by a water bottle spill in the backpack. The bags will help to prevent these embarrassing tragedies. It may not seem like much, but I know that providing these bags could make the entire school year run smoothly. Thank you for considering, and wish me luck on my first year in this school! *Inaccurate and unverified percentage, but it is true that most books are ruined in this manner.
