I have created a classroom environment where students feel CAPABLE of learning, CONNECTED to their peers, their teacher, and their curriculum, all positively CONTRIBUTING to the environment. My classroom cultivates culture and promotes creative learning. The climate is very engaging as active learning takes place with a LARGE focus on student-centered edification through education. Students are consistently engaged in hands-on interactive learning in the form of large variety of artistic expression, drawing, acting, modeling, and lab work. My teaching philosophy is that every child, yes EVERY child is capable of learning. Therefore it is the job of the educator to show, to engage, to build, to inspire, to assess, preparing students with the skills and the tools necessary to be successful BEYOND the 4 walls of the classroom!
