Nearpod and Flocabulary are two online platforms I've used in the past with great success for all learners, and I can't wait to use them again! The videos on Flocabulary teach the necessary academic language my students need in a fun and engaging way that often results in them dancing and singing along. Nearpod hosts lessons so my students can continue their learning in a virtual, student-centered way with interactive links, games, videos, and quizzes. The tablets will allow students to access these and other web-based resources in class. With these technological resources, my students will think critically and learn creatively. These resources cater to language learners and others who thrive when learning outside of traditional educational parameters.
