I teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Gifted and Talented students in my district. I travel to multiple schools and work in various conditions, from sharing a classroom with others, to working out in a portable. My students are the elite learning group from our district that set high goals and standards for themselves. They make good grades and have scored well on standardized tests. My students are energetic and eager to learn. Most of my students are from poverty. Our district has limited funds to spend on our Gifted and Talented program and technology is an area that is difficult to provide and make available for all my students. Since I travel to multiple schools I need portable devices to take to each school so my students can share the technology.
