Students learn best by being able to "DO" science! This project would allow my students to have an opportunity not normally afforded to most middle school students. By having my students dissect a fetal pig, the students are engaged and excited by biology and are pumped to come to class. These types of activities get students thinking about careers in the veterinary and medical fields! Anything that we can do to better prepare students for their futures is worth it in my opinion! I have found that when students are thinking about school, they are excited and perform better in school.

About my class
