My first grade students are an awesome group of active children who are caring, talented, and motivated to learn! I feel blessed to teach them. They amaze me every day with their progress in learning to read, their artistic ability to illustrate a story, and even the vocabulary words they choose to include in their writing. My students have started their second year at Pecan Park Elementary. It can be described as a school that has fostered a love of learning by providing various enriching experiences for all children. It is a place where you will see students engaged in different types of learning, so that all children have the opportunity to succeed.
