Our current robots are not programmable. They just connect and are remotely controlled. This particular Makeblock Robot, the Ultimate 2.0, will keep the students engaged in the classroom for many lessons. It has 10 different projects in one box. They will be able to start from the basic model in the enclosed directions. From there they use their imagination to expand from the original designs to solve problems. The Robot includes a camera and a cell phone caddy which will allow the students to control the robot remotely or perform other projects as they reconfigure their robots. They will learn Python programming language as well which they will be able to use to program their robots.
