These materials will be distributed in a kits for students to take home and apply programming/robotics concepts through online distance-learning. Students will be designing projects such as a robotic arm, then controlling those projects using apps created with MIT APP Inventor. Through rigorous robotics applications, students will learn advanced programming techniques that allow them to communicate between microcontrollers (Arduino) and IOT devices using bluetooth modules. With these particular bluetooth modules, student can connect iPhone and Android apps to robotic and home automation projects. This allows students to apply the entire engineering design process, cover advanced programming techniques, while learning from home.
