In the state of Ohio, third grade students are required to pass the AIR assessment, this is a state assessment that tests their reading and math abilities. Students must pass the reading portion in order to go ahead to fourth grade. These tests are completed on the computer and headphone are required in order to take the test. Students will use these headphones for these tests, but will also use them for state assessment preparation. We have software that models what the AIR test will look like. Having these headphones will allow my students to prepare for the AIR assessments.
